Recently some countries have successfully scrapped Covid-19 restrictions. As a result, travelling is slowly going back to normal. Joining the ranks is the country of white beaches, Mauritius. Mauritius has removed test requirements for double vaccinated visitors. The Ministry of Health and Wellness of Mauritius has announced scrapping off the requirement to produce negative PCR test reports while visiting the country for double vaccinated travellers. Initially, to enter Mauritius, visitors had to show their negative PCR test reports taken 72 hours before departure even if they were fully vaccinated.

Wave Of Relief

This move will now make visiting this Indian Ocean Island, both for tourists and business travellers easier and hassle-free. The move has simply sent a wave of optimism and relief across especially for the tourism industry in Mauritius.

A Move That Will Boost Tourism

The beautiful holiday destination, known for its white-sand beaches and turquoise water had reopened its border last October with partial restrictions. There was a hike in the tourism sector as many travellers, be it for business or leisure were visiting the country. Now that the reports have been scrapped, The demand for visiting Mauritius will again ramp up as before and in turn boost tourism in the country.
