Prime Minister Narendra Modi has welcomed a “new member” at his official residence in Delhi! This new addition is an adorable calf that he named Deepjyoti. The healthy calf was born to a mother cow already living at the PM residence and we can’t get over how cute it looks! PM Modi Announces The Arrival Of New Member At His Residence
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to social media to announce the arrival of a “new member at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg” and it’s an adorable little calf! PM Modi named the calf Deepjyoti and shared a series of pictures and videos of how he welcomed the adorable little one to his residence.
In the video, the PM can be seen petting, kissing, and cuddling the calf. He was even seen giving a home tour to the calf! Furthermore, you can see how the PM took the newborn calf to his home temple. There, he adorned the calf with a floral garland and shawl before offering prayers.

While sharing the news of the arrival of the new member, PM Narendra Modi quoted the scriptures – ‘Gaav: Sarvasukha Prada:’. He then went on to mention that the calf was born to a mother cow already living at the Prime Minister’s residence.
Here’s Why The Adorable Calf Was Named “Deepjyoti”
PM Modi has named the new member of his residence ‘Deepjyoti’. According to the PM’s X (formerly Twitter) post, the calf was born with “a symbol of light on its forehead,” referring to the little white patch on its forehead, and was hence named Deepjyoti. The PM was seen holding the calf close to himself and handling it like a newborn child.
