The General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai gave 66,000 golden visas in the first half of 2026. Moreover, it issued over 1.052 million residency permits and completed over 5 million entry permit transactions. These figures are for the first six months of the year, and it shows the continued growth of Dubai and its increasing attractiveness.
2. Green Travel Advisory For UAE By Britain
The British Embassy in the UAE has confirmed that the travel advisory for the UAE remains unchanged. UK is retaining its Green Safety status, despite the updated guidelines on regional tensions in the Middle East. Taking to X, the embassy posted that the travel advisory for the UAE remains green and has not been changed.
3. Etihad Airways Cancels Bahrain Morning Flight After It Turns Back
Etihad Airways flight from Abu Dhabi to Bahrain was forced to return in the early hours of Thursday. As a result, the airline has to reschedule services between the two countries. Flight EY647 had to make this return as the airport in Bahrain suffered disruptions due to an escalation in tensions.
4. flydubai To Increase Bangkok Flights
With a rise in travel demand between the UAE and Thailand, flydubai has doubled its flights to Bangkok. Yes, this begins on July 18th. The additional service was first announced in February. Now, more weekly flights are expected between the UAE and Thailand.

5. Sheikh Zayed Summer Festival Is Happening Until August 23rd
