Saudi Arabia is all set to celebrate its 96th National Day. Complete with air shows, the display will feature military parades and fireworks across the Kingdom. The celebration will take place on September 23rd, which is a Wednesday. As announced by the General Entertainment Authority, here’s all you can expect for the nationwide programme that is being organised by them in cooperation with government and private sector entities.
Saudi National Day Programme Announced
As revealed in a report by Gulf News, the nationwide programme for the 96th National Day in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia began on September 18th with three-day air shows in Jeddah. This display was brought together by the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Saudi Falcons aerobatic team. It was done alongside the Saudia Boeing 787-9 and a flyadeal Airbus A320neo.
It Will Be Broadcast Live On National Television
It’s worth mentioning that Riyadh will be hosting the main National Day show on September 22nd and 23rd. It will start at 4 PM, and the event will be broadcast live on television across the kingdom. The gates open at 2 PM. The Royal Guard will be setting the stage for the guard of honour procession, which will be accompanied by a military band.

Fireworks Planned For The Event
Security Aviation will also be leading a part of the display with a helicopter that will carry the Saudi flag. In Jeddah, the Royal Saudi Naval Forces will be displaying several vessels across the Red Sea Coast. The bodyguard will be holding land and maritime parades at the ROSHN Waterfront here. Celebrations will be taking place after National Day in the Eastern Province.
Yes, the report mentions how the Al Khobar waterfront will host airshows on September 26th and 27th at 4:30 PM. The display will include military aircraft and the first participation by Aloula Aviation. Fireworks will then illuminate the skies over Riyadh, Hail, Al Khobar, Arar, Al Baha, Medina, Jeddah, Tabuk, and Buraidah on September 23rd at 9 PM
