Dr Muhadditha Al Hashimi, who heads the Sharjah Education Academy, laid it out on the Direct Line programme. Three phases. The first one starts in August 2026, 2,402 kids get in right away. Then January 2027 adds another 332. A smaller third batch follows in April 2027, just 270 more. Do the maths, and you land at 3,004 children total, between re-enrolments and brand-new registrations. That’s a lot of toddlers starting their first year of school.
