Sheikh Hamdan Reviews Aviation As DXB Hits 95 Million Passengers For 12th Year In A Row

The skies over Dubai aren’t getting any slower. HH Sheikh Hamdan has revealed how important aviation is to the emirate’s growth by looking closely at how Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Emirates work.

Sheikh Hamdan Reviews The Growth of Dubai’s Aviation Industry At DXB

The message was clear. Airports and airlines are more than just places to get around; they are also important for the economy because they connect Dubai to the rest of the world.

Sheikh Hamdan looked at how teams at DXB, Emirates, and flydubai are dealing with the growing demand during his visit.

He praised them for being able to keep things running smoothly even when travel conditions around the world change. That’s not an easy thing to do. Airports all over the world still have delays and problems, but Dubai keeps pushing for efficiency.

Operations Run Smoothly, Thanks To Smart Tech

A big reason? Tech.

Officials showed off new smart systems that are meant to speed up the processing of passengers, cut down on wait times, and make terminals more comfortable. The goal is to cut down on friction from check-in to boarding.

There are also advanced monitoring tools at the airport’s operations centre. These systems keep an eye on activity in real time, which makes things safer and helps teams act more quickly when they need to.

Emirates Steps Up With More Advanced Control Systems

Next, the focus turned to Emirates. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum is in charge of the airline, which is still growing around the world.

Emirates connects Dubai to 123 places in 65 countries today. That reach is important. It keeps Dubai connected to important markets for both people and goods.

Sheikh Hamdan looked over the airline’s Network Operations Control Centre, which is often called the brain behind its flights around the world.

According to Gulf News, the centre now uses AI, computer vision, and real-time mapping tools to keep an eye on flights, the weather, and events around the world. This helps teams work together better, make decisions faster, and avoid delays.

In short, it keeps flights on time and keeps people moving.

Dubai Stays On Top With Record Numbers

This review’s timing is not a coincidence. More than 95 million people flew through Dubai International Airport in 2025. That number is huge, and it kept its title as the world’s busiest international airport for the twelfth year in a row.

There were also 454,800 flight movements, which is a steady increase.
