1. KHDA Announces Reopening Date For Early Childhood Centre

Dubai private early childhood centres are in for the gradual return to on-site learning. Yes, it is expected that from April 16th onwards, those within the government premises and commercial buildings can begin with this. It was further revealed that the country is gradually preparing for in-person learning, with the nurseries expected to begin in phases from this week.

2. New Branch Of Thukher Club Inaugurated

Under the directive of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Crown Prince of Dubai, the new branch of Thukher Club has been inaugurated. This is in Al Khawaneej, and it is under the supervision of the Community Development Authority.

3. Mwasaalat To Offer Free Bus Rides In Muscat And Salalah

On the occasion of World Public Transport Day, Mwasalat will offer unlimited free bus rides in Muscat and Salalah. This is on April 17th, and residents have therefore been encouraged to embrace sustainable and convenient urban travel. As revealed by the Muscat Daily, the free bus travel will be available on Friday.

4. Al Ain Decorates Streets With UAE Flags

As a part of the ‘Proud of UAE’ initiative, streets in Al Ain city were decorated with the UAE flags. As revealed in a post of Al Ain Municipality on X, from lamp posts to trees, they were adorned by twinkling lights, which were in the shape of the UAE flag. It should be noted that this initiative celebrates national pride.

5. More Than 2000 Kg Of Expired Food Confiscated In Suwaiq

As revealed by Muscat Daily, 2146 kg of expired rice had been seized and destroyed. Additionally, the authorities have also disposed of 84 kg of meat and seafood cure. Moreover, 25 kg of burger meat was also discarded. These items failed to meet the health standards. The municipality, as a result, has initiated legal proceedings against the offenders.

6. Saudia To Offer Free Wi-Fi On All Flights.

Saudi, which is the national carrier of Saudi Arabia, is truly transforming the in-flight experience. It has rolled out free high-speed Wi-Fi across its flights. A part of its digital transformation strategy, the airline is introducing connectivity, which would allow passengers to browse, stream, and even stay connected while they are in the air.
