The UAE just issued an urgent alert for residents in Dubai and Sharjah. Yes, the Ministry of Interior issued an alert on phones across the two emirates. As mentioned in a report of the Gulf News, the alert mentioned to get to a safe location and here’s all you need to know about this.

UAE Issues An Emergency Alert

The UAE’s Ministry of Interior recently issued an alert on the phones across Dubai and Sharjah. In the notification, it mentioned potential threats and asked the people to immediately seek a safe place at the closest secure building, as reported by Gulf Business. Not to mention, they were also asked to stay away from windows, doors, and open areas to wait for further instructions.

What Are These Alert?

Due to the ongoing situation in the UAE, a series of phone alerts and updates have been issued to residents and visitors over the recent days. As it happens, the Dubai Media Office also issued a safety guide, which was related to every possible scenario. Yes, it mentioned a list of dos and don’ts that one must follow when they get such alerts.

What To Do In Such Situations?

It should be noted that these warnings have been issued for the safety of the people, and one must take shelter until an ‘all clear’ is issued for the area.
