What Is The New Sahel Complaint Service Launched By Kuwait DGCA For Flight Delays & More?

Travelling can be a hassle when flights are delayed or cancelled, and there are refund disputes. However, not anymore. After all, air travellers and Kuwait can now directly report their problems through the Sahel App. This is a government app, and through the new service, one is in for faster complaint handling and stronger passenger protection.

Kuwait DGCA Announces Complaint Service On Sahel App

As revealed in a report of the Times of India, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of Kuwait has announced a brilliant move. Through this digital service, the complaint process just got simpler. Not to mention, it also improves communication between passengers, airlines, and travel authorities. Travellers can use the Sahel platform to report a wide range of issues that may be related to the airline or travelling. Whether it’s flight delays and cancellations, lost or delayed baggage, refund disputes, booking cancellations, or schedule changes, you can report all of these with the help of this platform.

What kind Of Complaints Can Be Filed?

Passengers can file complaints related to denial of boarding, downgraded ticket classes, package tour disputes, compensation claims, emergency situations like an aircraft returning after takeoff, and route changes. Just earlier this year, Kuwait’s DGCA ordered airlines and travel agencies to issue a full refund. These are for cancelled and unused tickets within 15 working days.
