Dubai’s dining scene is constantly growing. The latest openings show just how dynamic and delicious it can be. The city has welcomed a fresh lineup of restaurants that cater to every craving. There’s something for everyone, from sleek sushi bars and modern Middle Eastern spots to cosy cafés and relaxing beachfront hangouts. Here are some of the best new restaurants in Dubai that you must try this October.

1. YUBI Handroll Bar

Created by award-winning Chef Reif Othman, YUBI is a vibrant Japanese street-style handroll bar serving bold, flavour-packed bites in an immersive, social setting. Highlights include Hamachi with Yuzu Kosho, Hotate with garlic confit and tuna crisp, Kagoshima Wagyu with Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Tuna with Red Yuzu Kosho, and Akami with Foie Gras. You’ll also find indulgent maki rolls, sashimi, gunkan, crispy squid with chilli, Wagyu gyoza with ponzu butter, and creamy crab salad.

Mann Marzi is a theatrical dining experience where ambience, music, and food elevate every bite. A beloved Beirut-born concept, Em Sherif Deli brings its casual, comfort-driven Lebanese fare to One Central, Dubai World Trade Centre. One of the new restaurants in Dubai this October, it offers warm Beirut vibes, comforting dishes, and a beautifully minimal space perfect for solo lunches or laid-back afternoons. Led by Chef Yasmina Hayek, the menu is packed with soulful classics like Lahm Bi Ajin, Hummus with Awarma, Tabbouleh, and Chicken Musakhan, all served in a relaxed, sunlit setting.

KIGO draws inspiration from the Japanese philosophy of seasonality and impermanence. It is a refined dining experience through an intimate sushi omakase and a curated kaiseki tasting menu. The omakase features premium selections like fatty tuna temaki and sea urchin, while the kaiseki menu showcases seasonal ingredients such as pike conger and Kagoshima wagyu. 5. Middle Child  

Tucked into Alserkal Avenue, Middle Child is Chef Lynn Hazim’s new spot that blends elevated comfort food with creative community vibes. Part café, part cookbook library, and part gourmet grocery, it’s a space designed for connection and discovery. You can share a table with friends, flip through 500+ cookbooks, or stock up on curated pantry finds. Hazim, with roots in Beirut and a loyal following from her blog No Soup For You, adds warmth and a personal touch to Dubai’s dining scene.
