7 Best Eid Al Etihad Firework Displays Across UAE To Mark Your Calendars For

The UAE hardly knows how to do things the average way, and when it comes to fireworks, they are nothing less than spectacular. Every celebration in the country is a major affair, and Eid Al Etihad is right at the top of that list with fireworks and so much more. It’s the moment everyone steps outside, hoping to catch that firework show that makes them go, “Okay, THAT was worth the traffic.”

Best Eid Al Etihad Firework Displays Across The UAE

So, if you’re already planning where to stand, where to park, and which spot has the best chance of a breeze, here’s your full guide to the most dazzling firework shows across the UAE on the occasion of the UAE’s national day, a.k.a Eid Al Etihad.  Mark your calendars, bring your people, and yes, charge your phone. You’ll need it.

1. Al Seef

Al Seef always looks generally a part of the postcard, but it elevates the game when it’s Eid Al Etihad. The creek shimmers, the lanterns glow, and then boom, the show begins. The fireworks reflect off the water so beautifully that half the time you won’t know whether to look up or down. This one is great for families, casual strollers, and anyone who enjoys a bit of nostalgia mixed with modern flair. Arrive early unless you enjoy watching fireworks from the parking lot.

When: 1 December at 8:00 PM

2. La Mer

If you want fireworks with a side of sand, soundtrack, and sea breeze, La Mer hits the sweet spot. The display is big, bold, and colourful, basically Dubai in sky form. And the timing? Perfect. Grab an ice cream, dip your toes in the water, then watch the sky light up in bursting colours. Bonus: with all the beach cafés around, you can make this a full night out.

When: 1 December at 8:30 PM

3. The Beach, JBR

JBR’s always buzzing, but on National Day it feels like the entire city turns up. A mix of locals, expats, tourists, and even the occasional toddler dressed like a tiny falconer. The fireworks here are loud, bright, and dramatic, pretty much JBR’s personality. And because the show fires over the water, you get those gorgeous reflections everyone ends up posting on Instagram.

When: 1 December at 9:00 PM

4. The Pointe

If you like your fireworks with a view of Atlantis, The Pointe is the place. The crescent shoreline gives every angle a front-row feel, and the show is usually timed to music from the fountains. That combo? Unreal. Just remember: parking fills up faster than you imagine, so consider heading early or choosing taxis.

When: 2 December at 8:00 PM

5. Global Village

Are you looking for fireworks with grand crowds and good vibes? Global Village is the place to be. Already feels like a festival on a regular day. On Eid Al Etihad, it levels up the energy with a show that’s colourful and choreographed to perfection. If you’re bringing kids, this one offers the most around-the-show entertainment.

When: 2 December at 9:00 PM

6. Festival Bay, Dubai Festival City Mall

Two shows in one night plus twice the joy. The IMAGINE show runs its special “Faces of the Nation” edition on 2 December, celebrating Emirati heritage through lights, music, laser displays, and water projections. And right when you think the fun is over, the fireworks go off. If you love dramatic visuals, this spot is your jackpot.

When: 2 December at 8:00 PM and again at 10:00 PM

7. Yas Bay Waterfront

Abu Dhabi does not play when it comes to Eid Al Etihad. Yas Bay’s 2-day celebration blends heritage and creativity with a solid line-up of live shows.

  • National Rhythms Ensemble
  • Fisherman’s Tribute
  • Falconry Demonstrations
  • Mubarak Al Otaiba Ayalla folk performance

Then, as the night winds down, the fireworks ignite the sky right above the waterfront. It’s elegant, emotional, and a little bit surprising.

When: 1 & 2 December, Fireworks at 9:00 PM
