A Dubai restaurant has stepped into new dining territory with a menu tailored for guests using weight-loss injections like Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro. These medications work by slowing digestion and reducing appetite, meaning most people on them feel full quickly, sometimes even at the sight of a regular-sized plate.

To match that shift, Mediterranean eatery The Banc Dubai has launched the Mini Bancer menu, a lineup of its best-selling dishes and cocktails in smaller, high-protein portions. The goal? To keep the experience of dining out enjoyable without the pressure of oversized servings.
What’s On The Mini Bancer Menu
The scaled-down menu includes customer favourites, just reworked into lighter formats. Guests can order half portions of grilled sea bream and BBQ melt chicken, or opt for smaller starters like lamb kebab, tiger prawns and wagyu beef tartare. Even dessert has had a rethink, you’ll find baklava bites and a half-sized apple pie that still hit the sweet spot without overdoing it.
The idea is simple: serve just enough to satisfy, without overwhelming. The dishes are protein-rich to suit those on GLP-1 medications, which have been shown to change the way people feel hunger and fullness.

Cocktails, But Lighter For The Ozempic Menu In Dubai
Appetite isn’t the only thing these medications affect. Some people on GLP-1s also notice a lower interest in alcohol, which is why The Banc Dubai introduced mini versions of its signature cocktails.
Guests can sip on petite pours of their house favourites at AED48. That includes El Pepino (Casamigos Reposado tequila with basil, cucumber, pineapple and lime), The Fussy Cat (dry gin, chamomile tea, lychee and elderflower), and Pretty Little Pink (pink gin with peach liquor, lime and elderflower). It’s a way to enjoy the experience of a cocktail without the usual quantity, which suits the altered cravings many users report.
Tested In London, Now In Dubai
The Banc originally tested this concept at its London branch before bringing it to Dubai. According to the team, the reaction has been positive, especially among diners who had stopped eating out due to the side effects of GLP-1 medications.
Across the UAE, interest in these treatments has grown rapidly and so has the need for restaurants to adapt. The Banc’s move reflects a shift in how hospitality can respond to the changing habits and health goals of its customers.
A New Way to Dine Out
No more pretending to pick at a plate or making excuses for barely touching your meal. The Mini Bancer lets diners order what they feel like eating and enjoy a night out without waste or discomfort.
