Etihad Rail has rolled out a fresh set of perks for passengers headed to Fujairah and this time, the rewards keep going well after you step off the train. The rail operator has teamed up with Fujairah Tourism to offer ticket holders discounts of up to 25 per cent on hotel stays, dining, spa treatments and leisure facilities at a lineup of properties across the emirate.

The offer can be redeemed simply by showing a valid ticket at participating hotels on arrival, as mentioned in a report by Gulf News. No extra booking or code needed!
It is timed perfectly, as the first passenger route of Etihad Rail will link Abu Dhabi to Fujairah in only 105 minutes at speeds of up to 200 km/h. Since its launch on 30 June, the service has experienced strong demand with introductory fares from AED55 in Comfort Class and AED120 in Premium Class, a 50 per cent launch discount on the standard pricing.

Guests who book a room at participating hotels also get complimentary access to pools, gyms, jacuzzis and saunas. Walk-in passengers who aren’t staying overnight can still use their Etihad Rail ticket for a 20 per cent discount on the same facilities, subject to each hotel’s terms and conditions.

Partnership That’s Paving The Way For The Future Of Travel
Fujairah’s tourism department has welcomed the partnership, with officials noting that easier rail access from Abu Dhabi is expected to lift hotel occupancy and give the emirate’s wider hospitality, dining and retail sectors a boost, particularly for weekend getaways and short domestic trips.
For UAE residents scouting a low-effort escape, this is about as easy as it gets: book a train ticket, flash it at the hotel desk, and unlock a beach resort rate that would otherwise cost a fair bit more.
