The UK lifts its travel advisory for Dubai, a move welcomed by Dubai’s tourism authorities. It comes after months of uncertainty across parts of the region, with some travellers choosing to delay plans until the situation became clearer.
UK Lifts Dubai Travel Advisory, Boosting Tourism

One of the biggest questions people have asked recently is whether flights, hotels and attractions are operating as usual.
Dubai International Airport has continued functioning throughout the period, while Emirates is flying to most of its worldwide network. The airline currently serves 138 destinations across 73 countries and is operating close to its usual capacity.
Also, airports and airline partners are continuing efforts to increase connectivity and restore services where needed.
For many UK travellers, that’s likely to make planning a holiday feel much easier.

There’s Plenty New To See In The City
Dubai hasn’t exactly stood still while travel plans were being reconsidered.
Several new attractions have opened recently, including a large waterpark at Grand Hyatt Dubai and a refreshed aquarium experience at Atlantis, The Palm.
Beachgoers have something new too. Khor Al Mamzar Beach has been upgraded with a floating walkway, a dedicated night beach that stays open around the clock and several kilometres of tracks for walking, running and cycling.
More hotel openings are expected through 2026, including new luxury properties from internationally recognised hospitality brands. The UAE’s first Baccarat Hotel and Residences is also on the way.

More Flights Mean Easier Access From The UK
Getting to Dubai remains relatively straightforward for British travellers.
Emirates currently operates 110 flights each week between the UK and Dubai. Services run from several cities, including London, Manchester, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle.
That means travellers have plenty of options whether they’re planning a short getaway, a family holiday or a business trip.
For now, though, the lifting of the UK advisory is likely to be the headline many travellers notice first. After months of waiting for clearer guidance, some may finally feel ready to book that Dubai trip they’ve been putting off.
