Sharjah Charity International To Distribute 9,00,000 Iftar Meals

With Ramadan just around the corner, Sharjah Charity International has already completed setting up its locations across the emirate. By equipping 129 Ramadan tents and distribution sites, the plan is to serve fasting individuals throughout the month.

As it happens, the organisation also aims to distribute 9,00,000 Iftar meals. Coordinating closely with approved catering kitchens, these would ensure the provision of meals at all the designated locations. The report further mentions how kitchens are also being carefully selected that are in line with the strict food safety and health standards.

129 Ramadan Tents To Be Set Up

The preparations also include setting up of 129 Ramadan tents and locations. These have been strategically distributed across the emirate so that densely populated areas can be given a priority. Moreover, those areas would feature a large number of workers, and financially vulnerable families can also make use of the meals data provided to them. Implementing a comprehensive operational plan, the aim is to ensure that meals are delivered on time.

Offering ongoing commitment towards promoting social solidarity, the continuous monitoring and coordination would ensure that consistent quality and nutritional standards are maintained in the meals that are provided to the people.

Sharjah Charity Association Delivers Food Baskets

This development comes at a time when it was recently revealed by the Sharjah Charity Association that it had already started delivering the Ramadan food basket project. Under the ‘Jood’ campaign, the food baskets are being delivered directly to the homes of the beneficiaries who are unable to collect their aid in person.

The organisation is truly doing its best to ensure that needs are provided to those in need easily.
