The 5-day trek begins at the Khanjar Village, it is the last village of Miyar Valley and last motorable point before the village.

Get blown away by the stark contrasts as you tread along the valley, you will be traversing through alternate routes between remote mountain valleys, quaint villages and flower beds sprawling across the Himalayan orchids.

The transformation between green meadows to the alpine rocks of Zanskar will leave you stunned. This valley is less trodden by tourists due to its isolated location that lies in the northeastern part of Lahaul. The Buddhist Monasteries nestled in the breathtaking terrain will leave you hanging there in tranquility and solitude.

What’s The Difficulty Level?

Miyar Valley is the only Himalayan trek that has a flat-walk trail and is moderately easier to climb. It is ideal for beginners who want to experience something different and beautiful. You will be encapsulated with the barren mountains, mountain streams, flower beds, grasslands, horses and cows grazing the green meadows and stunning lakes.

How To Reach?

to reach Khanjar, you have to take the HRTC (Himachal Roadways Transport Corporation) bus to Shukto from Keylong, from Shukto you’ll have to walk 30 minutes to reach Khanjar.
