The all-new Mumbai-Delhi Rajdhani gets fully booked within a few hours after its flag off.

What Is It?

The new Mumbai-Delhi bi-weekly Rajdhani Express that the Indian Railways introduced has made a record by getting fully booked in less than five hours. It will connect Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (CSMT) station in Mumbai to Hazrat Nizamuddin (NZM) station in Delhi and it will halt at Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh, Kalyan station, Nasik Road station, Jalgaon station, Jhansi station, and Agra Cantt station.

What’s In It?

Peeps residing in Mumbai and Delhi got super excited to hear upon the news of the new Rajdhani Express that connects the two cities that it booked out within just a few hours. The train has a total of 756 seats, out of which 26 seats for the First AC, 156 for Two-Tier AC, and 576 seats for three-tier AC and it all got sold out.

The journey would take 19 hours and 30 minutes from Delhi to Mumbai and vice versa. The train will depart from Mumbai CST station on Wednesday and Saturdays at 2:50 pm and reach Delhi’s Hazrat Nizamuddin at 10:20 am the next day. From Delhi, the train will depart every Thursday and Sunday at 4:15 pm and reach the CSMT station at 11:55 am the following day.
