Indian Railways has launched so many Vande Bharat express trains in so many routes in India in the past months. They also have plans to launch more in the upcoming future. According to reports, the Mumbai-Goa train route will be getting a Vande Bharat express very soon. Raosaheb Danve is the Union Minister of State for Railways and he recently talked about the next plans for this semi-high-speed express train in the Mumbai-Goa train route.
Indian Railways To Launch Vande Bharat Train Soon On The Mumbai-Goa Route
Raosaheb Danve interacted with a delegation of legislators from Maharashtra in a meeting on Friday. He shared the news of the launch of a Vande Bharat express train on this route during this meeting. Niranjan Davkhare is one of the members of the Maharashtra Legislative Council and he is representing the Konkan graduates constituency as well. He stated the news of the Vande Bharat new express train launch recently in a release.
The Union minister also mentioned the specific lines of this route. He also informed that the new Vande Bharat train will run on the newly launched train routes from Mumbai such as the Mumbai-Shirdi route and Mumbai-Solapur route. These routes will help to decrease the time required to complete the train journey between Mumbai and Goa.
What Points Were Mentioned In The Release?
The release mentioned quite a few other statements about railways as well. In the meeting, the attendees talked about various discussions such as
- Alloting stalls for people who got affected because of railway projects.
- Getting mobile stalls at the stations to be used by the farmers.
- Increasing the height of the railway platforms. This will help in decreasing the space between the platforms and trains on tracks.
