Recently, Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar’s son, Arjun Tendulkar, got married to his long-term partner, Saaniya Chandhok, on March 5 in an intimate ceremony. The wedding decor was done in such a manner that it felt intimate, intentional and enduring rather than extravagant. What followed was five months of immersive creative evolution, layered with mood boarding, architectural spatial storytelling, curated guest journeys, and precision-driven logistical orchestration, culminating in two different cultures coming together in a seamlessly interconnected celebration.
The festivities started with the Punjabi Mehendi celebration, “SaanJ” on March 3. The event came alive at Gallops, Mahalaxmi Racecourse, as a vibrant sundowner celebration. The venue was converted into a carnival-inspired experience, featuring bold colour palettes and rich textures. Not only this, but the exclusive Mehendi Bazaar Gifting Experience was also set up, where personalised tote bags were curated, and beautifully designed stalls featured bangles, bindis, lip balms, authentic mukhwas and aam papad sourced from Amritsar.

On the morning of March 5, 2026, the wedding ceremony took place at The St. Regis Mumbai. This sacred celebration offered a serene counterpoint to the colourful mehendi, focusing on “Subtle Grandeur” as its design language. The ceremony was set beneath a breathtaking 270-degree centre mandap installation. The design was layered with off-whites, blush pinks, fresh greens, and muted gold accents created a serene atmosphere that made rituals look more beautiful and memorable.
Performances & Guests At The Wedding
The wedding performances featured some of the most promising names in the Indian music industry. Singer Harshdeep Kaur accompanied the bridal entry, and Shankar Mahadevan performed the Mangalashtak, making the ceremony more soulful.
Following the rituals, the celebration transitioned into a traditional Maharashtrian sit-down Pangat. With a multi-hall, high-volume seated dining experience surrounded by culinary teams and service staff.

The wedding was attended by close family members and friends from both the Bollywood and sports industries.
