Here’s How You Can Make It

Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to make Neena Gupta’s favourite “All-Season Chutney” at home.

Ingredients:

1. Tomato
2. Green chillies
3. Oil
4. Garlic
5. Ginger
6. Coriander
7. Salt

Method:

1. Wash two fresh tomatoes and a few green chillies properly. Boil them together until they turn soft and slightly mushy.
2. Let them cool for a few minutes, then transfer them to a grinder. Blend everything into a smooth puree and keep it aside.
3. Heat 1–2 tablespoons of oil in a kadai on medium flame. Once the oil is hot, add some grated ginger and minced garlic.
4. Sauté the ginger and garlic until they turn golden and release a nice aroma.
5. Now, pour the tomato and green chilli puree into the kadai. Mix everything well so that the flavours combine nicely.
6. Add salt to taste and coriander. Stir occasionally until the mixture thickens.
7. Turn off the flame and allow the chutney to cool a little. Your tangy and spicy chutney is now ready to enjoy with your favourite meals!
