Sion ROB Closes From Tomorrow; Traffic Woes To Get Worse

The Mumbai Traffic Police is bracing for the traffic in the city to get worse and is, therefore, planning on designating traffic wardens at every route that is expected to face worse traffic after the Sion ROB closure.

Sion ROB is a British-era bridge that serves as an important connector. According to an article which was recently published by the Republic World, 50 traffic wardens will be deployed at the Sion Circle up to Dr. B A road.

As per the post shared by the Mumbai Traffic Police on X (formerly known as Twitter), the Sion ROB will be closed from January 20 to May 31, 2024. However, some reports suggest that the bridge could take around two years to complete.
