Kashmir is known as “Paradise on Earth,” and that is so true. Home to some of the most stunning valleys and scenic beauty of India, this place totally deserves that tag. The Beautiful Betaab Valley In Kashmir
Betaab Valley is located just 15 kilometres from Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir. For all the people who are unaware, the original name of this place is Hagan Valley or Hajan Valley.
The valley was renamed after Bollywood’s famous movie “Betaab” starring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh. The movie was beautifully shot here in 1983, and the valley’s name was changed after the released movie became a blockbuster. This was done to boost tourism for this reason, according to people.
The Valley is located between Pahalgam and Chandanwadi, and is on the way to the Amarnath Temple Yatra. This is why this place also serves as a popular trekking base and a camping site for adventure enthusiasts.

Surrounded By Snow-Clad Mountains And Green Meadows
Betaab Valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-capped mountains, and a thick forest of deodar and pine trees. The valley is close enough to Pahalgam to be walked to.
The stream that bubbles down from the snow-covered hills is delightful, and the inhabitants here also drink this water because it is cold and crystal clear. Among the surrounding sites that can be visited are Baisaran and Tulian Lake.
You can explore a crazy variety of flora in this region and also indulge in fun activities like horseback riding. The valley is the perfect place to visit during June, July, August, and September. The reason behind this is that the temperature in this valley during this time is somewhere between 15 and 20 degrees Celsius with pleasant weather.
