Neeru Bajwa, popularly known for her role in the Jatt & Juliet films, joined this Sunday Brunch episode with the GOAT Diljit Dosanjh and our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani. Neeru might talk to you in a proper Canadian English accent but when it comes to speaking in Punjabi, she does it flawlessly! Why would she not? It is her mother tongue! Today, we talk about her constant need to travel between India and Canada for her work and how she manages it.
Neeru Bajwa’s To And Fro Between India And Canada
Neeru stays in Canada and works in India. This is one of the primary reasons she has to fly out to India from her home in Vancouver, Canada. It was obvious Kamiya asked Neeru questions regarding her work travel and how is she able to balance it out.
One of the first questions was about the quickest airlines for flying between India and Canada. She replied that hands down it is Air India! Then, she elaborated on how Russia and India have good ties in terms of air travel. Hence, Air India has direct flights connecting both of her prominent destinations.
The rest of the airlines have longer travel paths with prolonged flights, so she prefers booking with Air India to make travelling easier, wrap up her work in India and then, fly back to her family in Vancouver.

Neeru shared with us that when a good opportunity for films or other entertainment assignments comes, she isn’t held back by her family. She said they encourage her to work while they “hold the fort down” back in Canada.
Neeru thinks she is incredibly lucky to be able to fly out to India in first class and then enjoy a relaxing massage before she is off to the shoot for her next film.
