This especially came as a huge problem as chaos during the peak hours. People were in for a rude shock when their commute was disrupted due to a delay in services caused on the Ghatkopar-Andheri-Versova corridor. As a result, huge crowds of people accumulated at the Ghatkopar metro station! In fact, the queues for entering the station were so long that people joked on the internet that it felt like a queue for the Lalbagh Darshan. As such, the Metro officials reacted on X to a post wherein it stated that the services had been delayed due to technical failures. Train operations have now been regularised with additional services being run to help make it more convenient for people.

Netizens Weren’t Happy With The Chaotic Overcrowding Situation

As a result of the massive delay, the situation of chaos ensued at the Ghatkopar, Andheri, and other metro stations on the corridor. Due to this, commuters were seen taking to X, a micro-blogging website formerly called Twitter, to complain about the overcrowding and long queues of passengers at stations.
