Noida’s Aqua Line Is Finally Launching On 25th Jan

The Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Line is finally launching on 25th Jan.

What Is It?

The wait is finally over, Aqua line which will connect Noida to Greater Noida is finally launching on 25th January and we couldn’t be more excited! The fares start at ₹9 and go up to ₹50. This metro will ease off the travel time for Noida to Greater Noida commuters and will have easy connectivity between the two destinations. The Aqua line would connect Sector 52 station in Noida to Depot Station in Greater Noida, with a total of 21 stations, covering 29.7km.

 

What’s In It?

The all-new Auqa Line of the Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) is all set to make lives easier for Noida commuters. It will be inaugurated on 25th January by Uttar Pradesh Cheif Minister Yogi Adityanath. The inaugural event will be held at the Depot Station from where the Cheif Minister will take a ride on the new metro line up to Sector 142 station.

After it was given a green signal, the NMRC granted the approval to launch the Aqua Line which will be inaugurated on January 25th, it will have 21 stations out of which 15 of them will be in Noida and six in Greater Noida.

The minimum fare of the metro line will be ₹9 and the maximum fare will be ₹50. Noida’s Sector 52 station will be an interchange station for the Noida-Greater Noida Aqua Line. Also, the smart cards that commuters use for the Delhi Metro will not be valid for travel in the Noida Metro, but smart card users will get 10% concession on fares.

The Aqua Line is designed to run at a maximum speed of 80 kmph, with an average speed of 37.5 kmph.
