A new system has been rolled out in Sharjah where residents can now reserve public parking spaces in advance.
What Is It?
The Public Parking Department of the Municipality of Sharjah City has rolled out a crazy new service where residents can now book public parking by SMS for more than an hour. Residents will just have to send in an SMS from their mobile phones and can book up to five hours in advance. This service is currently available to Etisalat customers only, while other customers will be able to use it in the coming period. The official announcement was made on the Instagram page of Sharjah City Municipality.
