It was recently revealed by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs that Omani citizens have been granted visa-free entry to Azerbaijan for one year. Yes, this began on February 15th, 2026. As it happens, the visa-free entry is only under temporary exemption until February 15th, 2027. Here’s all you need to know about this development.
Omani Citizens Granted Visa-Free Entry
As revealed in a report of Gulf News, Omani nationals may enter Azerbaijan without a prior visa for a stay of up to 30 days per visit. This exemption has been given temporarily until February 15th, 2027. Through the arrangement, Omani nationals will be given a maximum of three visits within a one-year period. The report further details how the ministry has advised its travellers to ensure that their passports are valid. Yes, the validity must be at least six months from the date of entry.

Not only this, but the visitors have also been required to obtain health insurance that covers the duration of their stay. With the move expected to make travel better and strengthen ties between the two countries, the travellers will be allowed to move seamlessly.
