Who doesn’t love home-cooked food? Food cooked by moms has a heavenly taste for sure, as they add their secret ingredient called ‘love’ to it. Well, we got to know that actor Vishal Jethwa treated Kajol to some yummy home-cooked Gujju food made by his mom on the sets of Salaam Venky. Our show, Curly Tales Sunday Brunch, recently hosted Kajol and Vishal Jethwa, where the duo and our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani, indulged in some good food and conversations.
Vishal Jethwa Treated Kajol With Home-Cooked Gujju Food
As Kajol and Kamiya were having a fun conversation about motherhood, in walked Kajol’s reel-life son, Vishal Jethwa. In their upcoming movie, Salaam Venky, Kajol is playing Vishal’s mother. Just as Vishal entered and settled, Kamiya called for some delicious Gujarati delicacies to be served, especially ordered for him.
From the typical Gujarati delicacies menu, the table was served paatra, khandvi, khaman, and fafda. Looking at the food, Vishal said that Kajol does like Gujarati food. He had brought home-cooked Gujju food for his mother in the movie, prepared by his own mom.

Kajol Knows Mumbai’s Classic Eateries
Kajol is clearly a mood. She is the most vivacious person and a pure foodie. Curly Tales served Kajol and Vishal Jethwa with Kajol’s favourites from some of her favourite places in Mumbai. She suggested Kamiya bring pani puri from Kailash Parbat, pav from the City Bakery, and chai from an Iranian restaurant.
