How many times have you been trapped in an unsavoury situation only to be saved by the kindness of a random stranger? How many times have you helped a random stranger in need? A Reddit user recently shared his heartwarming story.
In case you did not know, Ahmedabad has been grappling with heavy rains and floods for the last couple of days. The user, who is originally from Bengaluru, said that his scooter was struggling to operate as the rainwater entered through the filter.
Many people on the way stopped to help him. One guy even towed the bike with his foot while riding his own scooter. When it broke down, and since it was close to a mechanic’s shop, another person helped him push it. He had to take an auto home as repairing the scooter took time.
The auto driver only charged him ₹30 for 300 metres. He said that in Bengaluru, the auto driver would’ve charged him ₹200. The Redditor was very grateful to the people of the city.
