Odisha Ring Road Project To Start Soon

Odisha is planning a new ring road project that will make travel faster and easier for everyone. As per News18, the plan is to build a 111-km, six-lane ring road from Rameshwar to Tangi. Why? This high-speed road will allow vehicles to travel up to 100 km per hour. The amazing part is that this road project is expected to be completed in about 30 months once work begins. The project is being built in three parts to make construction smoother and faster.

Once completed, this ring road will help reduce traffic in Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and Khordha. It will also improve access to tourist and religious places like Puri and the Jagannath temple, bringing a sigh of relief among Lord Jagannath devotees.

This 30-km stretch will have service roads, three interchanges, eleven minor bridges, and 90 culverts. It will also feature three elevated underpasses along with VUP, LVUP, and SVUP road systems. A rest facility for the travellers will also be added.
