Appu Ghar’s Oysters Water Park in Gurugram claims to have India’s Fastest, Steepest, and Tallest water ride and we cannot wait to check it out ourselves!
What is it?
Oysters Water Park by Appu Ghar is a beach themed water park, located near the Huda City Metro Station. It is spread across 10 acres and is home to 15 water rides.
Of the 15 water rides, the one that has got out attention is ‘OMG- Oh My Gurugram’. It is said to be India’s Fastest, Steepest, and Tallest water ride, and is perfect to get your adrenaline pumping! During the ride, the riders will be dropped from a launch chamber into a 45-degree loop with water gushing at a speed of 60 km/hr. Our hearts are already thumping!
Well, this isn’t it. Oyster Water Park boasts of other rides as well that will send you spiraling down the memory lane, like the lazy river, Sky Fall – with a 92 feet free fall, Whirl Wind- an exciting open float slide, and the best of all, wave pool with a faux sandy beach.

The fun doesn’t here. The weekends at the water park are even more LIT with something new happening every day from Friday to Sunday. On Fridays, the park witnesses families competing against each other in games like volleyball, Zor Ball, and Tug of War.
On Saturdays, the park hosts a food fiesta special and celebrity artist performances on Sunday.
Talking of food, the park has 4 in-house restaurants, Southern Bay (South Indian cuisine), Aroma Coast (Italian), Tidal Tadka (North Indian) and Langkawi Bay (oriental) along with one low tide restaurant serving world cuisine, and a high tide restaurant all set to serve chilled beer.
Other facilities available at the water park to make your outing more fun, comfortable, and luxurious include personal cabanas for resting or taking a nap, spa, rejuvenation center, and a gaming arcade.
How Much?
The best part about the Oyster Water Park is that they have something to do for people of all age groups, and it is not at all hard on the pockets! The park remains open from 11 am to 7 pm on all days with a ticket price of Rs 599 for senior citizens and children below 4 feet of height.
The ticket price for guests above 4 feet is Rs 1,000 on weekdays and Rs 1,200 on weekends. With so many activities taken care of, the beach is worth every penny you spend.
