Pilot Gets Locked Out Of Aircraft, Squeezes In Through The Window; Pic Goes Viral

This is probably one of the funniest and most relatable news we’ve shared. Many of us, due to our absent-mindedness, often end up locking ourselves out of our homes and even cars. It seems that not even pilots are exempt from being locked out. Recently, a picture of a pilot facing a similar predicament went viral on the Internet. The picture got a lot of attention as well as hilarious responses with Netizens around the world responding by saying that they find it relatable.

Pilot Gets Locked Out Of Aircraft; Had To Squeeze Through Window

In a hilarious recent incident, a pilot of Southwest Airlines got locked out of the aircraft and had to squeeze his way in from a window. It sounds like a plot of the cartoon Tom and Jerry episode and the picture too is reminiscent of it.

A flyer witnessed the whole ordeal of the pilot trying to fit in through the window and even managed to snap a picture. He then took his Twitter account and posted the photo on the micro-blogging website.

He also supplemented the picture with an explanation of what actually happened but Netizens were quick to point out his flawed understanding of the event. Some even amended the story with what actually happened. And it turns out, it isn’t the fault of the pilot at all.

What Actually Happened?

The explanation that was initially provided mentioned that the last passenger who left the flight accidentally locked it while leaving and nobody else was present onboard. Netizens then pointed out this would be highly unlikely as the crew would only leave after each passenger has vacated.

Another Twitter user then explained that it was actually because somebody used the front washroom on the flight and manoeuvring the toilet door, ended up accidentally shutting the cockpit door.

Since the cockpit was empty at the time, the pilot had to squeeze in from the emergency exit window in the plane. Southwest Airlines also gave a funny response to the tweet and said that it was definitely not something that one sees every day.
