Planting 2 Trees Now Mandatory To Get A House In Kerala

The sooner we all realize that climate change is real, the better the chances of us existing! Literally, you will not see the future generations if you keep deforestation going. Global warming is real! Climate change is happening! You need to make the world a better place. Kerala has taken a step to make this world a better place. They have made it mandatory to plant one mango tree and one jack fruit tree to get your house registered.

It is no brainer that growing more trees will make the earth a better place again. Ask yourself, how many saplings have you planted? How often do you plant the trees that are already in your back yard? I was ashamed when I answered these, I am sure you are too! Do we really need it to be made compulsory to plant trees? But I really wanted to appreciate the Kodungallur corporation.

Municipality of Kodungallur has made it mandatory that once the construction is completed they will keep a check on the planted trees, and they have gone into details and said that they will examine how well the trees are doing and only approve the registration when the trees are really taken care of! Nothing makes me happier than this news. It can be the best thing a state could do to make sure from their end that a good deed is being done. Mango or jackfruit in the compound compulsory for registration, what better scheme?

There are so many things we should make mandatory, planting trees, banning plastic, stop deforesting and stop killing animals! This rule is applicable to all the houses that are more than 1,500 sq feet and are built in an area of fewer than 8 cents. Am I am definite that Kodungallur is the first town to do this in our country. We need it now more than ever, we need to save our country.
