We have our favourites according to our preferences and these can often differ from others based on everyone’s choices. Amid the crowd of many popular sweets, some are often categorised as ‘overrated’. An X user compared milk cake with kaju katli and called the first one better than the latter.

Desi foodies are very protective, sheltered, and somewhat opinionated about their food preferences. Being a foodie by heart, I can vouch for it as I often end up claiming my choices to be the best. This recent X post grabbed everyone’s attention as it not only compared two of India’s most famous sweet treats but also called kaju katli an overrated sweet.

Shared on July 29, the post has already amassed more than a million views with over 1.8 comments by Netizens. We are actually quite stunned to see everyone’s reactions to the post and how they are responding to it, some people are in favour and others are just disagreeing.

Here are many responses showing people agreeing to milk cake is actually better than kaju katli. Someone commented, “100% agreed”. Another comment read, “Wondering how Kajukatli comes under the category of sweets. So overrated.” A X user pointed out how kaju katli has become the new soan papdi and it is the best for gifting purposes.

Kaju Katli Supporters Assemble!

While a group of X users agreed with Narsa’s opinion on milk cake being better than kaju katli, others shared their love for kaju katli here. They are simply disagreeing with the X post. A comment read, “Disagree here, kajukatli is love.” Someone commented, “Kaajukatli to best hoti rathor ji.”
