The Crown Prince of Dubai, his highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is also the Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai, attended an Iftar banquet on April 12, Wednesday with autistic children and their families. This Iftar banquet was organised at Emirates Towers Hotel. As such, his participation reflects his commitment to the well-being of the people. According to a news report by the Dubai Media Office, this move also reflected the prince’s keenness towards supporting the people of this community. Moreover, this banquet was also attended by Her Excellency Hessa Buhumaid, who is the Minister of State and the Director General of the Community Development Authority. Many other senior officials also attended this event along with the directors of centres for people of determination.

Sheikh Hamdan also admitted that he was indeed delighted to participate in this Iftar banquet, and during his discussion with these children and families, he highlighted Dubai’s eagerness to empower people of determination.
