Are incidents concerning plane crashes rising globally? While we cannot provide reliable data about a surge in these tragic cases, we can surely say that we have been reading much similar horrifying news recently. In an unfortunate turn of events, a small plane crashed into a furniture manufacturing building’s roof in Southern California. A lot of people were working inside when the accident occurred.

Taking to X, Valerie Smith (@ralvyandbubba) shared a video of the horrifying incident.

Police officials present at the accident scene shared that around 200 people were working inside the furniture manufacturing unit during the crash. The small plane rammed into the roof of this huge building and injured at least 18 people. Among the injured people, ten were rushed to a hospital for necessary treatment. The rest of the eight people received treatment at the accident spot and were soon released too.

Unfortunately, two people lost their lives. As of now, there is no information about the confirmed identities of the deceased. Kristy Wells, a Fullerton police spokesperson, said that it is yet to be known whether people who died were travelling on the aircraft or were in the building, according to a report by The New Indian Express.

FlightAware, a flight-tracking website, revealed that the private plane crashed the manufacturing facility soon after taking off from the runway. It departed from the Fullerton Municipal Airport in Orange County and hit the building within less than two minutes. This airport in Orange County is located only 10 kilometres away from the iconic Disneyland.

Firefighters Rushed To The Accident Spot

WayneTech SPFX®️ (@WayneTechSPFX) took to X to share details about the plane crash in Southern California.

The security camera of Rucci Forged, a wheel manufacturer, recorded how the private aircraft was in an inclined position while crashing the manufacturing unit. Right after, it caught a massive fire and flames and black sheets of smoke covered the entire place. Teams of police and firefighters rushed to the spot to douse the fire. They also evacuated people nearby.

Though the pilot stated about turning the plane for an emergency landing, the reason behind the devastating accident and the problem with the aircraft is still unknown.
