Priyanka Chopra’s fans went on a tizzy after she dropped ‘Jonas’ from her Twitter and Instagram handles. Priyanka had got married to Nick Jonas on December 1, 2018. After their marriage, Priyanka had changed the names on her social media handles to Priyanka Chopra Jonas. Now, after three years, the sudden removal of ‘Jonas’ from her social media handles drove many netizens to question if the two are parting ways. No sooner did she drop the name, the internet went crazy with divorce rumours. But as confirmed by PC’s mother and friend, she just changed the name and it has nothing to do with her actual relationship with Nick.
Priyanka’s Friend And Mom Brush Off Divorce Rumours
Speaking to IndiaToday.in, a friend of Priyanka brushed off the divorce rumours. She stated that Priyanka is using her first name simply because of her future projects and it has nothing to do with Nick, adding that she has not only dropped ‘Jonas’ but both ‘Chopra’ and ‘Jonas’. As reported by Pinkvilla, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra also denied the divorce rumours. But the fact that just a change in her name shook the entire internet proves that she is a real queen who rules our hearts.

Earlier in October, Nick had travelled to Spain to reunite with Priyanka and had also shared a picture of her hugging him from behind. Priyanka is in Spain now for the filming of the upcoming thriller series Citadel. Some days back, she had shared some sizzling pictures from the blue waters of Spain which had left Nick wowed. During Diwali, the actress shared pictures with Nick from their Los Angeles home, stating, “Our first diwali in our first home together. This one will always be special. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this evening so special. You’re my angels. To everyone who honoured our home and my culture by not only dressing the part but dancing the night away, you made me feel like I was back home.
