Pune Bars To Remain Open Till 5 AM For Christmas And New Year
The festive season is in full swing with everyone getting into the spirit of Christmas. This is also in line with New Year’s Eve as the world gets ready to ring in 2020 and celebrate the end of the decade. Looks like the Excise Department is also in a good mood as they have granted permission to bars and permit rooms to remain open till the wee hours of the morning. With this new announcement, you will actually step out of the clubs to see the sun shining on an all-new decade. The businesses will be allowed to stay open on the nights of 24th, 25th and 31st.
Most wine shops shut shop by 10:30 pm on regular days but they are going to be allowed to sell hooch till 1:00 am in the night. According to sources, permission has been granted to 190 wine shops, 350 beer shops and 10 beer bars in the Pune, Pimpri Chinchwad area. Ab toh aunty police bula bhi de tabhi bhi party nahi rukegi.
Besides these places, hotels with nightclubs are also hoping for some respite. There are talks that they might be allowed to keep the music playing until 1:30 am instead of shutting it down by 12:30 am.
