All You Need To Know About Pune Metro Meet-up
Everytime a new Pune Metro line open ups, I arrange a #PuneMetroMeetUp.
The idea is simple: meet at Garware station, go to the last station now open and come back and have tea and bun masks at either end.
This is the 4th such Meet up and is always a lot of fun.

Gautam Govitrikar is a Pune-based dentist. To bring the community together and celebrate the expansion of Pune Metro, he organises Pune Metro Meet-Up every time a new Pune Metro line opens up. And on November 17, he hosted the fourth such meet-up to bring together people from across the city.
As part of the meet-up, Punekars come together and take a ride on the new line and celebrate this development with some piping hot tea, and delicious bun maskas! As per Gautam’s latest post on X (formerly Twitter), people meet at Garware Metro Station, go to the last station that recently opened up and come back and have tea and bun masks at either end. He says these meet-ups are always fun!
What is interesting about these meet-ups is that these people don’t know each other or have only interacted online. They meet at the metro station, interact, and explore the city they live in together in the metro during these meetings. A pretty cool way to bring people together, we’d say!
What Goes Down During These Meet-ups
As per Gautam Govitrikar’s latest X post, a lot happens during Pune Metro Meet-ups! To begin with, they observe and inform citizens about all the new things that await them at these new lines. They also take walks around the metro stations to see how the metro expansion is helping the people of the city, explore markets together, and even visit temples together.
Now, if you’re wondering how to take part in these meet-ups, then all you have to do is show up! You can follow Gautam Govitrikar on X and check for the next meet-up dates and time and anyone and everyone who is interested can be a part of it.
