R. Madhavan’s Eating Schedule Is Not By The Clock

We began the much-awaited healthy breakfast feast of acai bowl, avocado sandwich, French toast and more at Shelter By Javaphile Cafe in Mumbai. Madhavan is extremely health-conscious and we wanted to learn about his eating habits. He reflected on the drastic changes in dietary habits that made his life easier over the last one and a half years.

It has specifically changed the way his body feels! “I do not eat because it is time to eat. I think that is the biggest mistake we make in today’s world,” he told us. Madhavan is very particular about consuming meals when he feels hungry and not according to the clock, unlike other popular beliefs.

The actor has unlocked the secret to his fitness and health by paying attention to his energy levels, rather than just eating to satisfy hunger or because it’s mealtime. He ultimately feels more energetic and healthier by following the method of eating only during hunger pangs.

Madhavan continued on the same topic and enlightened us about his beliefs on food. One of his major beliefs is following the clock for food consumption habits. It kills a child’s instinct for the need to eat!

He wants parents to educate their children on proper eating habits and not stick to feeding them packaged food or fast foods. He said overlooking simple things like these can be detrimental to their health from an early age. Lastly, he stated, “You are killing the child’s instincts, completely.”
