Every day the internet has one or another viral video which features a super weird food combination. The food combinations are simply going bizarre like masala dosa ice cream or gulab jamun burger and whatnot. Thankfully our recent guest on the Sunday Brunch X The Bombay Journey episode, Radhika Apte is not a fan of all these trends. But she shared an incident where her aunt once mixed tea with dal rice and ate it. Not kidding! Read further to know more.
Radhika Apte’s Aunt And Her Weird Food Combos
Our Chief Editor Kamiya Jani asked Radhika about her go-to food and she named Butter toast and ice cream. After naming the dish she did use the word ‘separately’ which showed how she was aware of the bizarre food combos that are trending these days. This reminded Radhika of her favourite aunt who stays in Hyderabad and a weird food combo that she ate. Her aunt had a habit of mixing all leftovers and having them. So once she was eating rice with some vegetables and someone told her that her tea had turned cold. The next thing she did was she mixed the tea with dal and rice. Ummm…Okay, never mind.
She Can Easily Sleep After Drinking Coffee
Don’t you wish to have a superpower? Most of us do right? Reading minds, being invisible, etc. But I wish I had the superpower of sleeping on time at night. Do you relate? Well, Radhika surely has a superpower. She can sleep soundly even after drinking coffee. Hey, not just one or two cups is what I mean, she can sleep peacefully after having even 2 litres of coffee! Strange but true.
When Kamiya Jani asked Radhika whether she was a coffee person or a tea person, she spilt the coffee. “Aati hai Mujhe bilkul. Mujhe koi problem nahi hai” (I can sleep after it, I have no issues) is what she says. Okay, Radhika you are lucky.
