Rahul Dravid & The Squad Enjoy In Triund!

The Indian team chose to spend a few days in Dharamsala after defeating New Zealand in an ICC event for the first time in 20 years. The support staff took a day off to enjoy the magnificent wonders of one of Himachal Pradesh’s most beautiful cities before flying to Lucknow for their next match against the reigning champions, England.

In Dharamsala, Rahul Dravid and his companions undertook the difficult yet exciting Triund walk. On Wednesday, the BCCI posted a video to social media that is currently trending. The caption stated that the day was spent well in the hills. And the team is taking positive vibes to the next game.

In the video, Rahul Dravid describes the magnificent view of Triund and states that it was a challenging trek to complete. The Indian head coach went on to say that although it would have been risky to take the youngsters on the walk, he would undoubtedly do it someday when they were free and not in competition.

He also stated that it was unfortunate that he couldn’t bring the boys up the hills as it is too risky with the environment. Vikram Rathour, the batting instructor, also talked about his experiences on the walk. He stated that they were in Triund and began trekking from Galu, which is beyond McLeod Ganj. The final half-hour of the ascent is a little difficult, but once it opens up, everything is worth it.

Even K L Rahul shared pics from this amazing trip where he had a fun time. He was seen taking a dip in the ice-cold water!
