The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has stated that this particular heatwave is likely to reduce in the following days. According to an article which was recently published by News18, Delhi witnessed a sudden change of weather on Saturday, June 1. A dust storm swept the city and cloudy skies were witnessed, bringing relief to the heatwave-plagued region. The IMD has predicted that it is likely that parts of the national capital will witness rain as well as thunderstorms today and tomorrow.

Rajasthan will get relief from the sweltering heat as well. As per the officials from the weather department, particular regions like Bikaner, Jaipur, Bharatpur and Kota are likely to experience cloudy weather. This prediction was made by the meteorological centre in Jaipur. In other places in the state, temperatures are also likely to drop.

Along with Delhi, the entire North India is expected to experience a break from the scorching heat. The weather department has predicted rain in all of North India. Regions like Punjab, Haryana, West Bengal, Sikkim, Jharkhand, Bihar and other parts of the region are slated to witness rainy weather.
