In an old interview with DNA in 2017, Rakesh Roshan revealed that Hrithik Roshan worked as an AD ( Assistant Director) for his film Karan Arjun. Rakesh Rohan directed the Bollywood blockbuster starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan. Fresh out of college, Hrithik Roshan was a rookie in the industry yearning to learn the tricks of the trade. During this time, Rakesh Roshan was strict with Hrithik to teach him professionalism on a film set.

Rakesh Roshan Didn’t Give Him Any Special Treatment On Film Set
The father didn’t want to give his son any special treatment. So Rakesh Roshan made sure that Hrithik never sat with him for meals during the shooting of the film. The Koi Mil Gaya star wasn’t allowed to travel with his father in swanky cars during the shoot of the film. Hrithik Roshan travelled in autos, taxis and buses with other ADs. He also shared a room with three other people and had meals with them. This was Rakesh Roshan’s way to teach his son the best he could about working on a film set.
