Ayodhya’s Ram Temple is touted to be the world’s third-largest Hindu temple. A few months ago, Curly Tales Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani visited the Ram Mandir where 40 per cent of the construction is already complete. The temple is all set to be completed by June 2023. Moreover, the Ram Temple will have gates named after Ramayana characters to welcome visitors. Here’s more about it.

Ayodhya Ram Temple To Have Hanuman Dwaar, Jatayu Dwaar & More

Ayodhya is the birthplace of Lord Rama as per the Ramayana. So, in order to welcome devoted pilgrims the Ram Temple will have gates named after Ramayana characters like Lord Rama, Lakshman, Hanuman, Bharat, Jatayu and Garud. Devotees entering the temple from Lucknow road will pass by the Ram Dwaar. Those visiting via Gorakhpur road will walk by Hanuman Dwaar. And those by Gonda road, Varanasi road, Raibareli road and Allahabad Road will pass by Lakshman Dwaar, Jatayu Dwaar, Garud Dwaar and Bharat Dwaar, respectively.

Moreover, according to Outlook, District Magistrate Nitish Kumar revealed to PTI that the Ram Temple will have world-class facilities like swanky restaurants, hotels, big parking spots and toilets at the entrance of every gate. Nestled across 2.7 acres, the Ayodhya Ram Temple lies on the banks of the Saryu river. Pilgrims can visit Ayodhya to seek blessings from the divine Ram Lalla, Surya, Ganesha, Brahma and Vishnu. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra is supervising the construction of the divine temple.

Solar-Powered Ferries To Take Visitors To The Mandir

Moreover, solar-powered ferries will be introduced on the river Sarayu. Pilgrims can hop on the eco-friendly ferry and travel to the Ram Temple. The ferries will have solar panels installed on the roofs. Also, they will have first aid boxes, fire extinguishers and other features. Not just existing boatmen, this promises to increase employment opportunities for locals in Ayodhya. With 10 solar ferries, your trip to Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir will be a pleasant one.
