Rida Tharana Revealed Her Favourite Spots In Bengaluru

In 2024, Curly Tales opened its first-ever restaurant, Imlee, The Chaat Gali, in Mumbai. Now, in 2025, Imlee has made its way to Indiranagar, Bengaluru. This restaurant is not your ordinary chaat place; here, you’ll find everything from Vrindawan’s famous lassi to Kolkata’s puchkas. No matter what you’re craving, Imlee is the place to be. On this exciting episode of Tere Gully Mein, we were joined by none other than Rida Tharana, the digital sensation, as we explored the lanes of Indiranagar. We not only enjoyed all the delicious treats Indiranagar has to offer but also got to know a lot about Rida’s journey into digital creation and her solo travels. Rida Tharana Shared All About Her Love For Bengaluru

As soon as we met Rida Tharana in Indiranagar, Bangalore, she revealed all about the love she had for the city, jokingly instructing us that she would not tolerate anything negative we said about Bengaluru. She credits the city for shaping her into the person she is today and loves it to the core. Well, this definitely made us curious—was there anything she didn’t like about the city?

Rida revealed that Bangalore’s traffic is infamous for a reason, and that’s one thing she doesn’t like about the city. However, people in Bangalore have grown accustomed to getting stuck in traffic and have made it a part of their lives, using the time to finish work or even take a little nap. That’s certainly a creative way to utilise time!

Next, we learnt about some of the things she loves about the city, and of course, we wanted to know her favourite spots. Rida Tharana revealed that she simply loves dosa, idlis, and filter coffee. Her favourite place in the city serving all of these in authentic form is The Filter Coffee. While she usually visits The Filter Coffee for breakfast, for lunch she enjoys a typical South Indian meal on a banana leaf, and for that, she prefers Nagarjuna and Maravanthe, which serves amazing coastal cuisine.

Finally, it was time to start our food trail in Indiranagar, and naturally, the first stop was the newly opened Imlee. As soon as we entered, Rida Tharana was impressed by the beautiful interiors. Going through the menu, she was pleased by the range of options and wanted to try a lot of things. We ended up ordering Delhi Ki Dahi Puri, Vrindavan Ki Lassi, Indore’s Patel Singara, and a lot more.
