Saudi’s UNESCO Heritage Site

As the centre of a historic city founded in 1446 AD, Diriyah will present you with a unique depth of entertainment. It transports you back to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s prehistoric past. Further, it features cobblestone alleys, historic sites, and distinctive natural features. On the banks of Wadi Hanifah, it is perfectly located to be a posh, cultural district northwest of Riyadh. To provide you with a window into the past, it houses museums in its historic structures.

In 2010, the At-Turaif District was inducted as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Moreover, Diriyah received historical and heritage status. Visitors travel to Diriyah to enjoy the rich nature and breathtaking architecture. As well as the seasonal festivals, folk performances, marketplaces, and traditional eateries found in the city’s parks. Cultural attractions include the rebuilt Al-Zawihra Mosque and the Diriyah Museum, a former palace housing exhibitions on Saudi history.
