This Kerala Man Is Travelling Through All Of India With His Elderly Parents In A Car

Afzal, hailing from Kerala’s Thevaikkal has embarked on a road trip to cover the whole of India, and he has also taken his parents, wife and 3-year-old child along. Earlier, Afzal had already travelled to the nook and cranny of India on a bike, but he wanted to give the experience to his closed ones too. His parents, Khader and Naseema are in their 60s and they are now rediscovering themselves through travel. Thanks to Afzal, during the trip, his parents could enjoy activities like parasailing and camel safari in Jaisalmer.

They Covered Mysore, Aurangabad, Vadodara, Jaisalmer And More

According to an onmanorama.com report, the family had started the journey on October 14 in a car borrowed by Afzal from his brother Ansar. They have already covered Mysore, Hubli, Aurangabad, Mumbai, Vadodara, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Jaipur and Haryana’s Hisar. Reportedly, they are in Srinagar at present. On the way of return, they are planning to cover Manali, New Delhi, Nagpur, Hyderabad, and Bangalore. They are travelling for around 500 kilometres daily, starting their journey at 7 AM.

The Car Has A Gas Cylinder And Stove For Cooking

While on the journey, Afzal and his family are exploring a plethora of landscapes, cultures, cuisines and more. The car Afzal is driving has a gas cylinder and stove too, for cooking meals on the way. They have visited the marvellous Ajanta Ellora caves of Maharashtra, the golden desert of Rajasthan and also the magical Nubra Valley of Ladakh. Although they are travelling during the pandemic time, they did not face many hassles while crossing state borders except at Mysore, where they were asked to produce a negative RT-PCR report. But till now, their trip has been an amazing one, and we’re wishing them the best for the rest of their journey.
