When referring to Sachin Tendulkar, the term legendary doesn’t exactly do justice. He was an incredible cricket player who gave every Indian cause for great pride and continues to serve as motivation for young athletes. Sachin is a unique individual who is adored by all, and he added to the charm of our 100th Sunday brunch. He joined us for this episode of Sunday Brunch to talk about his passion, his journey, and his plans for the future with our Editor-in-Chief, Kamiya Jani.

Sachin Tendulkar Talked About His Love For Sports

The numerous contributions made by Sachin Tendulkar’s brother to his career were all discussed in-depth with us. He expressed his gratitude towards him for all of his support and attention.  He said that although they occasionally disagreed and held radically different views on a wide range of issues, at the end of the day, they always sat down and discussed their differences. After every match he played, they talked about everything he did well in the game as well as what needed more work.

Sachin also talked to us in detail about his never-ending love for sports. When he was a kid, every sport, from kabaddi to tennis, used to fascinate him. He was always sure about becoming an athlete when he grew up. Even today, every time there is a global sports tournament going on, he can be found glued to the television, following every sportsperson and their every move.

Sachin Tendulkar talked about the importance of giving all sports and athletes the same amount of attention. He even addressed the need for heroes in every sport. Even better, he related a memorable incident in which the audience applauded him. As soon as he stepped onto the field, he tried to focus and enter the zone. He was trying to gather himself and evaluate his situation.

The crowd mistakenly believed Sachin Tendulkar was looking at them and began applauding even when he was concentrating while blindly gazing in a direction. He was obviously unable to concentrate due to this, and he left the field fairly quickly. Even as he left the field and turned to look back, the supporters continued to applaud.
