This hero-worshipping attitude in Indians also means that any criticism toward any particular idol is forgiven, defended or critiqued in return. Evidence of this fact was given when Sachin Tendulkar’s neighbour recently picked a bone with him on social media. Here’s how Netizens reacted and how the Master Blaster himself reacted.
Sachin Tendulkar’s Neighbour Complains Of Loud Noise
Dear @sachin_rt, it’s nearly 9pm and the cement mixer that’s been outside your Bandra home all day making a loud noise is still there, still making a loud noise.

Recently, someone took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and shared a complaint. The user was the neighbour of Sachin Tendulkar and he complained of loud noises outside his home. He went on to explain that his home in Bandra was undergoing some construction.
Owing to the construction, the cement mixer outside his home which persistently made loud noises throughout the day, continued to do so till 9 PM. He also added a polite request to ask the workers to stick to reasonable hours.
This post of his ended up going viral on the micro-blogging website. People questioned why he chose to take to social media instead of simply calling the cops. Many even accused the user of attention-seeking and wanting publicity because of this.

How Did The Master Blaster Himself React To The Complain?
As a followup, I got a very gracious call this afternoon from someone at the office of @sachin_rt. He explained their constraints and the efforts they are making to keep noise to a minimum, and gave me a patient hearing.

In a follow-up post, the user shared that he received a call from the office of Sachin Tendulkar and the person explained the constraints they were experiencing in keeping the noise to a minimum. The user went on to highlight that the person was far more considerate than most people reacting to his post.
While there were a few people who said that his complaint was valid, a majority of the comment section was willing to give Sachin a free pass on the noise issue citing his glorious career in cricket.
